Services - Domain Registration

Before you can setup a website or email address you first need to register a domain name. Your web address will then become “www.yourdomainname” and your email address will become anyone@yourdomainname“. For example our domain name is “sabrannan-design.co.uk so our web address becomes “www.sabrannan-design.co.uk” and we have specific email addresses for each person and also generic email addresses such as “info@sabrannan-design.co.uk” and “support@sabrannan-design.co.uk“.

Deciding upon a domain name is often the hardest part, we recommend something that is not too long and relates to your business name or service provided, most importantly you cannot register a domain name that is currently registered by someone else.

We are able to check domain name availability for you and then register your chosen domain name on your behalf (making you the owner, we’ll just manage it for you). There are different types of domain name, each one uses a different suffix, types include:

The main types are:
.co.uk - This is the standard type for UK domains, we recommended .co.uk for UK businesses.
.com - If your business is worldwide we’d recommend .com.
.org - An alternative worldwide type for organisations.
.net -

Other types include: .org.uk - UK based organisations.
.plc.uk - UK based public limited companies.
.info - .me.uk - UK based type for individuals.
.ltd.uk - UK based limited companies.
.biz - Alternative type for worldwide businesses.
.tv - For television/broadcasting.
.eu - For European Union.
.mobi - For the mobile networks and services.
